Gosia Lapinski

Gosia is a visual artist working across multiple media, with a background in commercial graphic art. She has taken part in festivals and residencies around the world, and created solo and collaborative work including murals, public art installations and digital video work. As a first-generation Polish immigrant, she is fascinated with the contrasting human experiences of alienation/belonging, and connection/conflict. You can find her work at gosialapinski.com. Michal Lapinski

Michal is a psychoanalyst who has recently retired after 45 years of practice. Having initially trained and worked in Europe, he moved to Australia in 1984. Since then, he has lived and worked primarily in Melbourne. He has been writing poems (in English and in Polish), and, more recently, short stories. One of them has been published in the collection The Analyst as Storyteller. His essay-poem has been published in the collection Mind in the Line of Fire. He has written his memoirs, of which a shortened version was published in Polish.
